This compact six-piece hand tap set combines five common metric coarse-thread taps with a matching T-handle wrench. It is intended for thread repair and light manual tapping where a full tap-and-die assortment is not required.
Prepare the hole using the correct tap-drill size. Start the tap perpendicular to the work surface, use a suitable lubricant and manage chips carefully. Confirm whether the supplied tap geometry is appropriate for blind or through holes before ordering.
