This cast steel die stock is made for holding round threading dies during manual external thread cutting. Multiple holder sizes cover compact repair dies through larger workshop dies.

Using a die stock
Match both the die diameter and thickness to the holder. Chamfer the workpiece end, align the die square to the bar and use suitable lubricant. Incorrect alignment can create tapered or damaged threads.
